About the Role

This is a part-time position: Be part of the Ocean Rescue Alliance International team and part of the new Reef Discovery Center - Broward County’s new hub for reef restoration, education, and community engagement. You’ll design programs, lead outreach, and inspire the next generation of ocean stewards. Make a direct impact on coral reef restoration & help us grow our projects, programs, and partnerships at the new Reef Discovery Center and ORAI facility.

What You’ll Do

✔ Develop and lead STEM education programs for schools, camps & community groups

✔ Represent ORAI at community events & volunteer programs (~15 per year)

✔ Manage logistics for outreach events, workshops & tours

✔ Support marine science & reef restoration initiatives

✔ Serve as an ambassador for ocean conservation

Qualifications

■ Bachelor’s in Marine Science, Environmental Science, Education, or related field

■ 2–4 years experience in environmental education, outreach, or nonprofit programs

■ Strong communication & teaching skills (all ages)

■ Outgoing, community-minded, solutions-driven

■ Familiarity with South Florida marine ecosystems
