Ben Sibelman

Website and Digital Graphics Design

Ben Sibelman earned his Bachelor of Science in computer science and a minor in environmental analysis at Pomona College. He has been an advocate and graphic designer for ecological causes since he created an Earth Day poster for the Claremont Colleges Eco Club in 2004. He has designed event flyers for the Sierra Club, postcards and protest banners for 350 Seattle, and a website for a satirical newspaper created by Washington Against Nuclear Weapons.

Originally self-taught, Ben was formally trained in graphic design through night classes at Bellevue College starting in 2012. Now, after twelve years working in the software industry, he's changing careers via the Human-Centered Design and Engineering Master's program at the University of Washington, broadening his design skills to include everything from apps and websites to cell-phone recycling programs. He is proud to be able to apply his years of graphic design experience and developing web design skills to help Ocean Rescue Alliance communicate the vital importance of its coral reef restoration work.
